Clifton Campus

The NTU Hockey Club is based at the University’s ‘heart of sport’ Clifton Campus. The campus has been specially tailored to suit the needs of our club, and hockey has the benefit of training and playing matches on the iconic blue pitch. This is the same colour as the London 2012 Olympics pitches and one of very few in the country.

Clifton campus is easily accessible from the city centre via the number 1 or 4 buses. It is also a short walk from Rivergreen tram stop.

Coaching

Women’s Hockey at Trent benefits from having Colin Clarke as Head of Hockey. Colin boasts an impressive CV as GB U23 Women's Head Coach and England U21 Women's coach. We also have Mark Wadsley who joins us this season from Trent Collage. He is Beeston’s current Men’s 1st XI Head Coach, and is joining us as a coach for Men’s and Women’s 1st and 2nds. Also joining us this year is Sarah Kerridge as development hockey coach, Sarah was previously working as a coach at Keele University. We also have Ravi Matharu who is a very experiened level 2 qualified coach.
