The Club

Nottingham Trent University’s (NTU) Women’s Hockey Club is one of the largest women’s sports clubs at Trent and is growing year by year. Our club consists of 4 teams, all of which compete in the BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) Championship League – Tier One. BUCS games occur on a Wednesday with a mixture of home and away fixtures in terms 1 and 2. The club also boasts two Saturday teams which compete in the Notts Women’s Hockey league, with our 1st XI achieving promotion into Notts Premier Division and 2nd XI into Division 2 for the 2017/18 season

The University was previously known as an England Hockey National Performance Centre. NTU has been the choice of many successful graduates and athletes, including; 2016 Olympics Gold & 2012 Bronze medallists, Hannah MacLeod and Crista Cullen.

Affiliation to a NTU Sports club costs just £50, plus a £110 subs cost for membership to NTU Women’s Hockey which covers playing shirts, coaching, transport, match teas and use of the all-weather pitch.
